  24. I have a SupraFaxModem V.34 since November and it has worked FLAWLESSLY with 
  25. minimal modem strings.  To my ISP, I get 28.8k about 75%, 26.4k about 23%, and 
  26. <26.4k about 2%.  To CompuServe I get 28.8k 100% of the time.

  28. Of course, sometimes the modem does negotiate up and down depending on the 
  29. current line quality....I've never dropped below 24k from my home.  I think I 
  30. have been blessed with a good line...
